Little boy dressed as O'Rourke for Halloween goes viral

A young boy dressed up as a miniature version of Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D) for Halloween went viral Wednesday after the Senate candidate shared his photo on Twitter.

The young boy can be seen in the photo donning a blue button-up long sleeve shirt with a “Beto” pin and holding a Whataburger cup.

A video of the Texas Democrat went viral in August showing him skateboarding at a local Whataburger restaurant.


O'Rourke made the rounds on social media again after a video emerged of him air-drumming to The Who’s “Baba O’Riley” last month while he waited in a drive-thru line at a Whataburger. The video followed after his first debate with Cruz at Southern Methodist University. 

O'Rourke, on Wednesday, also shared a second photo of him and another person who dressed like him for Halloween. 

Texas hasn’t elected a Democrat to the Senate in decades. Cruz leads O'Rourke by 7 percentage points in according to an average of polling by RealClearPolitics
