Parker Curry, now 3, wore a miniature version of the geometric dress that Obama wears in the portrait by Baltimore-based artist Amy Sherald, which is displayed at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington.

Parker’s mom, Jessica, shared a photo of the costume with BuzzFeed News.

Jessica Curry told BuzzFeed News that her daughter “talks about Michelle Obama every day,” and that the costume choice was an easy one.

“Flat out. No hesitation. Half of a second later. 'I want to be Michelle Obama,' and I was like, ‘whoa,’” she said. "I thought she was going to be like, 'I want to be Elsa or some other character like that.' "

The owner of a children’s clothing company had offered to make Parker a copy of the dress in March, and Jessica Curry said she reached out just in time for Halloween.

“[Parker] walked in," Jessica Curry told BuzzFeed News, "and she saw the dress and she was like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ And I was like, ‘Do you like it?’ And she was like, ‘It’s perfect!’ Literally those were her words: ‘It’s perfect!’"

Parker’s younger sister, Ava, dressed as the police escort to her first lady.

Obama said in a tweet that Parker "nailed the look."

"I love it!!!!"

The photo of Parker looking up at the portrait went viral in March, and she later met with the former first lady for a dance party.

“Keep on dreaming big for yourself...and maybe one day I'll proudly look up at a portrait of you!” Obama tweeted after meeting her fan.
