Bruce Springsteen predicts Trump will be reelected: Dems don’t have an ‘obvious’ candidate

Legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen said in a new interview that he doesn’t see Democrats defeating President TrumpDonald John Trump2020 Democrats spar over socialism ahead of first debate Senate passes .5 billion border bill, setting up fight with House 'Teflon Don' avoids the scorn of the 'family values' GOP — again MORE in 2020.

The “Born to Run” singer and longtime Democrat told The Sunday Times that Democrats need a candidate “who can speak some of the same language” as Trump.

“I don’t see anyone out there at the moment … the man who can beat Trump, or the woman who can beat Trump,” Springsteen told the paper. “The Democrats don’t have an obvious, effective presidential candidate.”

Springsteen praised the Democratic Party for taking back the House in last month’s midterm elections, but said he would “like to have seen a much more full-throated [rejection] of the past two years.”

“We’ve come too far and worked too hard,” he said. “Too many good people paid too high a price to allow this.”

Last week, Springsteen called Trump "deeply damaged at his core" and "dangerous."
