Julián Castro, a former San Antonio mayor, told the Associated Press on Wednesday that he would announce a decision about a White House bid on Jan. 12.

It’s not the first time that 44-year-old Castro has sat down with Colbert — he appeared on the show during another election season — in January 2016.
