SPOTTED: A who’s who of Washington women getting in the holiday spirit — and glamming it up — ahead of 2019.
Monday’s “Celebration of Washington Power Women” was hosted by Veluxe founder Susanna Quinn — whose on-demand beauty app was acquired by Glamsquad earlier this year — and her husband, lobbyist and CNN legal analyst Jack Quinn, in their home in the District’s tony Foxhall Village neighborhood.
Among those eyed in attendance: CNN’s Dana Bash, Abby Phillip and Kate Bennett, CBS’s Nancy Cordes, political consultant Stephanie Cutter, Amy Argetsinger of The Washington Post, Pam Stevens, Betsy Fischer Martin, publicist Kimball Stroud, Laura Evans, Elizabeth Thorp, Gloria Dittus, Jocelyn Quinn, Politico’s Nancy Cook and Daniel Lippman, Framebridge’s Susan Tynan, Rachel Holt, Washingtonian magazine’s Brittany Shepherd, Forrest Hamil, the American Hospital Association’s Robyn Bash, Alex Skatell, Revolution’s Meredith Balenske, Alex Marquardt of CNN, Salt & Sundry owner Amanda McClements, Katie Grant, Mariel Saez and Evan Ryan.
Also seen parked outside the exclusive get-together: a car with D.C. tags bearing what was perhaps a simple ode, of sorts, to the nation’s capital: “SWAMP.”
Guests were treated to copies of Quinn’s puntastically named annual holiday cookbook, “Quinntessential Fare,” along with Glamquad’s haircare products.
“It was such an honor to have so many amazing women who are constantly balancing power jobs and busy families,” Quinn, who now serves as a Glamsquad senior adviser and ambassador, told ITK. “So to be able to introduce them to Glamsquad’s new product line —which can make their lives easier — was really exciting!” Quinn said.
