Former President Obama took a break from golfing in Kaneohe, Hawaii, last week to meet a 7-week-old baby in an exchange caught in a now-viral video.

Obama was seen on New Year's Eve walking up to Joseph and Chelcie Edwards holding their baby named Paisleigh, news site reported Tuesday.

He asked to hold the baby and gave her a peck on the forehead before handing her back to her parents.

The former commander in chief, who has two children of his own, told the family that “you can’t beat having daughters.”

“This your first one? You guys are going to do great,” Obama, dad to 20-year-old Malia and 17-year-old Sasha, said. “He looks like a good dad.”

Joseph Edwards shared a photo of the pair on Instagram, joking that they might never wash the baby's forehead again.

Obama has been known to stop and take selfies with kid and their parents.

He visited the Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., last month, carrying presents and wearing a Santa hat while he participated in art projects alongside the children.
