Former President Obama on Monday stopped at Ayesha Curry’s San Francisco restaurant for Presidents Day.

The nation’s 44th president posed for a photo with Curry, her husband and Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry and Chef Michael Mina, at the International Smoke.

Mina, who co-owns the high-end barbecue spot with Ayesha Curry, shared a photo of the four of them on Instagram and wrote: “No greater privilege than to cook for this man on Presidents’ Day. Thank you for the highest honor @barackobama!”

Obama has been in California with Stephen Curry and other celebrities this week for the first gathering of the Obama Foundation’s My Brother’s Keeper Alliance (MBK), a program aimed at supporting youth-violence prevention efforts and mentorship for young boys and men of color.

The Foundation announced this month that award-winning singer and songwriter John Legend would join Obama in Oakland, Calif., for this week's event, dubbed MBK Rising.

The gathering is slated to run from Monday through Wednesday and will convene hundreds of boys and young men of color, as well as organization leaders in MBK communities, "to connect, learn, and share," according to the foundation.

The event marks the fifth anniversary of the launch of the MBK initiative, which Obama started following the death of Trayvon Martin, a black teenager in Florida who was fatally shot by George Zimmerman in 2012.
