Pete Buttigieg is a Hufflepuff, husband reveals

South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, one of the many Democrats considering running to take on President Trump in 2020, is a Hufflepuff, his husband has revealed.
Chasten Buttigieg tweeted Saturday night that he made his husband take a quiz to determine which house he would belong in at Hogwarts, the fictional wizarding school from the “Harry Potter” series.
“Welcome to Hufflepuff, love!” Chasten Buttigieg tweeted.

Fans of the series believe that your Hogwarts house is linked to your personality traits. Respondents to Chasten Buttigieg’s Twitter poll said they thought “Mayor Pete” would be in Ravenclaw.
{mosads}Quoting the Sorting Hat’s song from the “Harry Potter” books, Chasten Buttigieg tweeted that Hufflepuffs are “just and loyal,” “true” and “unafraid of toil.”
Chasten Buttigieg noted that the mayor took the official Pottermore quiz, which was created by author J.K. Rowling.
He also urged supporters to kick in donations for his husband, asking people to “toss in a few galleons” before he revealed his Hogwarts distinction.
Pete Buttigieg, who has been called the “first millennial president,” announced Saturday that his campaign had gained enough donors to participate in the first Democratic Party debate of the 2020 cycle.
Buttigieg is the only openly gay candidate currently running for president. He and Chasten were married in June 2018.
