Prince’s memoir will be released this fall, more than three years after the legendary musician’s death, The Associated Press reported Monday.

Random House will publish “The Beautiful Ones,” an unfinished manuscript including rare photos and lyrics, on Oct. 29, according to the AP. The 288-page memoir was first announced shortly before Prince’s death in April 2016.

{mosads}”‘The Beautiful Ones’ is the deeply personal account of how Prince Rogers Nelson became the Prince we know: the real-time story of a kid absorbing the world around him and creating a persona, an artistic vision, and a life, before the hits and the fame that would come to define him,” Random House said in a statement.

The book’s content will cover Prince’s early years and his increasing popularity through a combination of 50 handwritten pages by the musician, personal photos and several lyric sheets, as well as an introduction by his chosen collaborator, Dan Piepenbring.

The introduction will cover the musician’s final days ahead of his death from an accidental overdose, a period when he “was thinking deeply about how to reveal more of himself and his ideas to the world, while retaining the mystery and mystique he’d so carefully cultivated,” according to Random House.
