The head women’s basketball coach for the University of Minnesota jokingly offered a full scholarship to “Game of Thrones” heroine Arya Stark Monday following the third episode of the hit HBO series’ final season.

“After a staff meeting this morning we have decided to extend a full athletic scholarship to Arya Stark of House Stark to attend the University of Minnesota,” head coach Lindsay Whalen tweeted Monday. “Winter is coming and we hope she chooses to continue to protect the bold north!!”

Arya, played by 22-year-old British actress Maisie Williams, is a trained assassin and swordswoman who contributed to a climactic moment in the most recent episode, a longer-than-usual spectacle which depicted the pivotal battle between armies defending the fortress of Winterfell and an army of the dead.

Political and media figures ranging from “The View” host Meghan McCain to MSNBC’s Joy Reid sang the character's praises on Twitter Sunday night after the episode.

The series is set to end its run on May 19.
