Both Davidson and Clinton shared the snapshot Thursday, although it depicts the pair in a Polaroid image dated Wednesday.

"That’s bae for life," Davidson captioned the photo, in which he wears a printed jacket and Clinton sports one with floral embroidery.

It is unclear from the post where the photo was taken, but Clinton appeared on MSNBC Wednesday night, which is based out of NBC's New York studios at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, as is "Saturday Night Live."

The image is not the first time the "SNL" star has expressed his admiration for the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee. In 2017, Davidson revealed his tattoo of Clinton's face.

"Wanted to get @hillaryclinton a Christmas gift so I got a tattoo of my hero. Thanks for being such a badass and one of the strongest people in the universe," he wrote on his Instagram at the time.

Clinton responded to his post, joking that she had a Pete Davidson tattoo.

“Thanks @petedavidson,” Clinton said in a comment on the post. “This makes it significantly less awkward that I’ve had a Pete Davidson tattoo for years.”

“But seriously, I’m honored." she added.
