Eight things popularity polls tell us MORE can add a surprising distinction to her list of honors: She’s the winner of an MTV Movie & TV Award.

The Supreme Court justice won at Monday’s awards show in Santa Monica, Calif., in the Best Real-Life Hero category. The 86-year-old jurist, who was the subject of the 2018 documentary “RBG,” beat out fellow heroic contenders Serena Williams, Alex Honnold, Hannah Gadsby and Roman Reigns in the category.

According to MTV viewers, who voted in an online poll for the winner, while Ginsburg is a real-life hero, her fight against inequality doesn’t compare to a cinematic smackdown. “Ruth Bader Ginsburg vs. inequality” in “RBG” was nominated in the Best Fight category, but lost out to Captain Marvel’s battle with villain Minn-Erva in the superhero flick “Captain Marvel.”

Ginsburg lost out in two other categories in which she was nominated: Best Documentary for “RBG” and Most Meme-able Moment.

Ginsburg didn’t attend the awards ceremony.
