Singer Pink defended a photo she posted on Instagram Sunday of her children at the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin amid online backlash.

The photo, which some users found disrespectful, shows Willow, 8, and Jameson, 2, running through the memorial. It was posted with other shots from Pink's trip to the city with the original caption "Berlin, I love you. #holocaustmemorial #panamarestaurant #cocktailclasses #history #herstory #worldtour."

However, the star added more to her caption after Instagram users questioned why her children were running through the somber memorial.

"And for all of the comments; these two children are in actuality Jewish, as am I and the entirety of my mothers family," she wrote. "The very person who constructed this believed in children being children, and to me this is a celebration of life after death. Please keep your hatred and judgment to yourselves."

Some Instagram users used to post’s comments to support the singer’s decision to share the photo, with one user writing “I can think of nothing that respects those lost more than the living actually living and laughing” in the comments.

During an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’s talkshow in April, Pink said she would no longer be sharing photos of her children because of the “mom-shaming” she experiences online after she posted a photo of her son without a diaper on.

"I cried so hard after that because I like to share my family," Pink said. "It's my proudest moment in my whole life. I'm prouder of my kids than anything I've ever done. I just, I won't share them anymore."
