Social media users faced some counterprogramming Tuesday night, trying to keep up with both the latest Democratic presidential debate and the season finale of "The Bachelorette."
As 10 Democratic White House hopefuls took the stage in Detroit to debate issues ranging from immigration and health care to defense and trade, the star of the ABC show this season, Hannah Brown, made her final decision between contestants Jed Wyatt and Tyler Cameron.
Some on social media joked about which candidate on stage in Michigan would win the debate and “get the final rose,” the signal of the winner at the end of ABC's “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.”
Others said it was hard to keep track of what was going on during both events, which were scheduled for the same time for many viewers across the country.

And for others, both events seemed to merge together Tuesday night.
The democratic debate is intense! I think Jed makes a good point about loving Hannah, but Tyler promised to increase Hannah’s happiness by 20% over the next few years.
