During the debate hosted by CNN on Wednesday night, Trump Jr. jokingly tweeted: “Comedy Central should really be the host of the next round of these debates.” 

It wasn’t long after his tweet that Comedy Central fired back at the president’s son with one of its own, saying: “Nah, last time there was a joke at a debate it became president.”

“If it's what you say, we love it, especially later in the summer,” the show tweeted.

As of late Thursday morning, Trump Jr. has yet to issue a reply to either of the swipes from his page.
