Milano wants to raise funds for groups in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, all of which Trump won in 2016. He was the first Republican presidential nominee to win Wisconsin since 1984, and the first to win the other two states since 1988.

"My plan for 2020 involves raising money for grassroots organizations in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania," Milano tweeted on Monday.

"These are the states we lost by 77k votes in 2016. I will not allow that to happen again. Join me by donating to my #2020Fund!"

The #2020Fund will give money to organizations in these states that work on voter engagement along with other social justice issues.

Milano partnered with the Movement Voter Project, which will match donations up to $1 million.

"Let's start working together now on something we can all agree on: defeating Trump in the three states where he just barely won in 2016," Milano said in a video on the fund's website.

"These organizations empower youth, immigrants, women, people of color, and communities facing the worst of Republicans’ horrible policies," she wrote on the website. "They fight tirelessly on the issues AND Get Out The Vote."

Milano has been outspoken about her political beliefs and has particularly advocated for abortion rights
