The comparisons have cropped up in the wake of allegations that Trump during a July phone call hinted at withholding military aid from Ukraine unless Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky launched an investigation of former Vice President Joe BidenJoe BidenThe Hill's Morning Report - House prosecutes Trump as 'lawless,' 'corrupt' What to watch for on Day 3 of Senate impeachment trial Sanders wants one-on-one fight with Biden MORE and Biden's son Hunter Biden. The call came days after Trump delayed the delivery of hundreds of millions of dollars meant for Ukraine.

Farrow was married to Frank Sinatra from 1966 to 1968, a period when the singer, the model for a supporting character in “The Godfather,” was alleged to be a close associate of numerous organized crime figures, including Chicago Mafia boss Sam Giancana.

A 2015 book alleged Sinatra offered to arrange a hit on Woody Allen for Farrow during her acrimonious 1993 divorce from the director.
