Mark Hamill zings Ivanka Trump for ‘Star Wars’ tweet
Mark Hamill and Ivanka Trump appear to be galaxies apart after the actor zinged the White House adviser after a “Star Wars”-related tweet.
President Trump’s 37-year-old daughter shared a lighthearted family moment on Twitter over the weekend.

Hamill, a vocal critic of the president and his administration, took a metaphorical lightsaber to Ivanka Trump’s post. The 68-year-old actor, who played Luke Skywalker in the multibillion-dollar franchise, responded with a tweet of his own.

It’s not the first time that Hamill has blasted the Trump White House with a “Star Wars”-focused dig.
Last year, the performer said that Darth Vader, the famed “Star Wars” villain, was better than President Trump because the fictional character “repented.” Comparing Vader to Trump and former Vice President Dick Cheney, Hamill said, “He saw the error of his ways. I don’t see either one of them doing that.”
