Cuba Gooding Jr. is pleading not guilty to additional sexual abuse charges in an ongoing groping case.

The "Jerry Maguire" actor was seen grinning as he left a New York court on Tuesday.

Gooding, 51, faces a four-count indictment, including charges of forcible touching and sexual abuse in the third degree. Two of the new charges stem from an October 2018 incident, according to the indictment. The other charges involve an alleged groping in New York in June.

Prosecutors argued in court documents that Gooding has shown a pattern of sexual misconduct, saying multiple women are poised to testify that he acted inappropriately towards them in separate incidents.

Last week, the Manhattan District Attorney's office said that "a new, previously uncharged incident" would be added to the case against Gooding.

Gooding's next court date is scheduled for December.
