Lee introduced her “newest constituent” in a tweet announcing her marriage to Rev. Clyde Oden Jr.
“An extra special welcome and #HappyNewYear to my newest constituent – Rev. Dr. Clyde Oden Jr., who I had the honor of marrying last night!” Lee tweeted.

Lee has been a member of the House since 1998. She was the lone dissenting vote on the authorization of the war in Afghanistan in 2001.
Lee, 73, was married before and divorced at age 20. She raised her two sons as a single parent, according to The Mercury News.
Oden recently retired as the pastor at Bethel Oxnard African Methodist Episcopal Church.
