Beyoncé led off a star-studded tribute to Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna on Monday at a memorial service for the basketball star at the Los Angeles Staples Center.
The Grammy Award winner was the first to take the stage at the celebration of life event for Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter, who were killed along with seven others in a helicopter crash last month in Calabasas, Calif. Bryant was 41.

Sporting a gold suit — one of the Lakers’ colors — Beyonce sang her 2013 song "XO" before launching into another hit, "Halo."
She could be seen mouthing "I love you" in the direction of Vanessa Bryant, the basketball legend's widow, who was in attendance.
Proceeds from ticket sales for the event will be donated to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, Bryant's charitable organization.
