But despite their famed patriarchs being on opposite ends of the political spectrum — Lara Trump also serves as an adviser on her father-in-law’s reelection campaign — the two will serve as honorary co-chairwomen of this year’s “Wine, Women and Shoes” charity event.

The March 14 fundraiser, held at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, benefits Big Dog Ranch Rescue, the country’s largest no-kill animal shelter.

An invite to the sold-out function calls it the “most anticipated mid-day event of the season,” and promises an “infamous celebrity doggie fashion show,” an “exquisite lunch,” and “designer shopping.”

The Washington Examiner was first to report news of the bipartisan benefit.

It’s not the first time the pair — who are both animal welfare advocates — has banded together for the canine-centric charity event. Lara Trump and Georgina Bloomberg have both been photographed participating in the annual soiree before.

While the two are apparently putting any political differences aside for woman’s best friend, the commander in chief and the former New York mayor have been engaged in a political dogfight.

Last week, Trump mocked Bloomberg after the billionaire executive’s presidential primary debate debut, calling him “grossly incompetent.” Bloomberg’s campaign unveiled a series of billboards last week aimed at trolling Trump, with messages such as “Donald Trump lost the popular vote” and “Donald Trump likes burnt steak.”
