Former President Clinton on Wednesday seized an opportunity to use a viral internet meme of himself listening to records to wish legendary singer Stevie Wonder happy birthday.

The meme involves an image of a smirking Clinton from the 1990s, wearing headphones and holding up a record. Three other vinyls rest around him.

The image has become an opportunity for users to edit the photo display their favorite albums.

Clinton used four of Wonder’s albums for his showcase.

According to the website, the image of Clinton used as the template is manipulated. The satirical news site The Onion first used the altered image in 1999 for an article titled "Clinton Writes Fan Letter to Joan Jett.”

The meme was revived on Instagram this spring, and there is even a website called “Bill Clinton Swag” that will add the album art automatically for users wanting to partake in the challenge.

The former commander in chief is a noted fan of Wonder, who performed at his inaugural gala in 1997.

Wonder also played renditions of his hit songs "Overjoyed," "For Once in My Life," "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours" and "Superstition” at Clinton’s birthday concert for charity in 2011.
