The post, which has racked up more than 33,000 likes in two days, also included photos of the singer’s “Color Me Barbra” album and her “My Name is Barbra” album.

In a statement provided to CNN on Monday, Streisand said she “sent Gianna videos where I played a little girl in my first television special singing kid songs and my second special a sequence with lots of baby animals.”

The move from Streisand comes as Gianna continues to see an outpour of support from much of the public and some celebrities since the death of her father, George Floyd.

Floyd died at the age of 46 last month after a white police officer was recorded kneeling on his neck during an arrest in Minneapolis. In footage of his arrest, Floyd could be heard telling the officer he couldn’t breath as he continued to hold his knee on his neck for more than eight minutes.

His death and the police killings of more African Americans in recent months have sparked widespread protests against police brutality and racism.

Last week, Gianna received a full scholarship to Texas Southern University (TSU).

In a statement at the time, the school, a historically black college, said its board of regents, "in conjunction with the TSU Foundation Board, has approved a fund to provide a full scholarship for Floyd’s beloved daughter, Gianna."
