Young condemned Trump last week for using two of his songs — "Like a Hurricane" and "Rockin' in the Free World" — during a Fourth of July celebration ahead of the president’s address to a crowd in South Dakota.

In an open letter to Trump on Monday, Young repeated his request for the president to stop playing his music at his events. However, Young suggested that Trump listen to his 2020 version of "Lookin' for a Leader," which he said would "be an interesting addition" to his next rally.
