The caps scratched off the words “Great Again” and replaced them with "Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor.”

Taylor, a 26-year-old emergency medical technician, was shot to death by police in her home in Louisville, Ky., on March 13.

Police allegedly entered her apartment unannounced, serving a so-called no-knock warrant. When Taylor's boyfriend Kennet Walker opened fire on the police he said did not identify themselves, they fired back and killed Taylor.

The officers involved in Taylor’s death have not faced charges. Her death is among the handful of recent high-profile instances of police violence that caused nationwide protests and calls for action on police brutality and racial injustice.

During their season openers, NBA teams knelt during the national anthem on courts painted with the words "Black Lives Matter."

President Trump and other conservatives have lashed out at athletes who have taken part in kneeling demonstrations during "The Star-Spangled Banner," a protest act most famously associated with former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who was the first NFL player to do so in 2016.
