‘SNL’ alums Tina Fey, Fred Armisen star in new ad for Biden

“Saturday Night Live” alumni Tina Fey and Fred Armisen are teaming up and making a plan to vote in a new ad for Joe Biden.

“I’m just going through all my contacts and checking with people to make sure they have a voting plan. Do you have your voting plan together? Are you registered to vote?” Fey asks Armisen in the video for the Democratic presidential nominee’s campaign, released this week.

“Um, my dad registered when I was a kid, so he does — he’s sort of like the family voter,” Armisen deadpans.

Fey then encourages the “Portlandia” star to check if he’s registered on his own.

The pair aren’t the only former “SNL” stars to go to bat for the ex-vice president. Julia Louis-Dreyfus emceed the final night of the Democratic National Convention in August, while Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph also appeared as part of a virtual Biden fundraiser last month.

Rudolph will be reprising her role as Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris (Calif.)  — with Jim Carrey making his debut as Biden — on this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live.”
