'Happy Days' cast reuniting for Wisconsin Democratic Party fundraiser

Former “Happy Days” cast members will unite for a virtual fundraiser for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin Sunday.

Attendees will include several actors from the Milwaukee-set sitcom, including Henry Winkler, Ron Howard, Don Most, Anson Williams and Marion Ross, as well as Lowell Ganz, who was a writer and supervising producer for the show.

Viewers will be able to join the event with a donation of $1 or more, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Howard tweeted about the event Monday, calling 2020 “the most important election of our lifetimes" and referencing Wisconsin’s status as a battleground state. Winkler also amplified the event on his own Twitter account.

Numerous TV and movie cast reunions have served as digital fundraisers in recent weeks, including those with cast members of “The Princess Bride,” “Veep” and “Parks and Recreation.”
