Leslie Odom, Jr. is sharing a "Hamilton"-inspired message for voters about the presidential election results: "Wait for It."

The original cast member from the Broadway show released a video from Represent Us, a nonpartisan, anti-corruption group, on Monday urging Americans to be patient with election totals. A record number of voters are voting by mail this year amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, meaning that election results in critical swing states might not be confirmed on Tuesday.

"Look, this is pretty clear. Every American who voted deserves to have their voice heard,” Odom says in the video, as the song "Wait for It" from "Hamilton" plays in the background.

He’s also alleged, without significant evidence, that mail-in ballots – especially those that arrive after Nov. 3 — come with an outsized risk of voter fraud.

"It may take time," Odom, 39, says, "but your vote is worth waiting for. And I'm willing to wait for it."
