"No matter how you celebrate, Merry Christmas," the video reads.

Champ and Major are depicted celebrating very differently in the video: Champ quietly under the tree and Major running through the house with a toy.

The two dogs' imminent arrival at the White House, the first pets to live there since former President Obama's dogs Sunny and Bo, has stirred some excitement with fans who have created multiple fake Twitter accounts for the two dogs.

The Christmas Eve video featuring the dogs has been viewed more than a million times on Twitter.

The Bidens adopted Major from the Delaware Humane Association, which will make him the first shelter rescue dog to live in the White House.

Biden suffered hairline fractures in his right foot after he slipped and twisted his ankle playing with Major in late November.
