Actress Angela Kinsey of “The Office” has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to an announcement she posted to Instagram on Wednesday.

The 49-year-old shared her diagnosis with fans in an Instagram Story, saying, “I knew the odds were against me since I was living with 4 Covid positive people. I really tried to quarantine and not get it.”

Kinsey’s husband, Joshua Snyder, two stepsons and daughter all have tested positive for the virus in recent weeks, People reported.

A photo of the test result Kinsey shared to her story shows that she received her positive result on Tuesday. She went to get retested after starting to feel ill, she explained.

She currently is experiencing symptoms including loss of taste and smell and exhaustion but claims she has not had a fever.

“That’s the crazy thing about COVID. It’s just so different for everybody,” she said.

In a previous post, Kinsey described the situation in her household, explaining that everyone was wearing masks around her, shown in a series of photos she posted of their Christmas celebration.

“We went into quarantine in our own home. Living in separate bedrooms, wearing masks etc. This week Isabel and Josh start running fever. We immediately retested again. Isabel and Josh now have Covid,” Kinsey said. “I somehow do not. I am now quarantining by myself. So far they are all having very mild cases and I am thankful for that. We’ll be having a masked Covid Christmas over here.”

Kinsey said her kids are now recovered and her husband is on the mend, although he still experiences occasional exhaustion and dizziness.

She thanked her fans for their support in a separate Instagram post, writing, “Taking it easy. Thanks for your sweet messages of encouragement. It means a lot! I am okay just really tired. I hope you all are doing well.”
