The NBA announced on Wednesday that it will be postponing its seventh game of the season, between the Atlanta Hawks and Phoenix Suns.
The league has run into issues with its new season as it struggles to hold games during the coronavirus pandemic, Bloomberg reports.
The NBA on Monday announced that it would be postponing two other games due to the pandemic. The games between the New Orleans Pelicans and Dallas Mavericks and the game between the Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls were both postponed.
The NBA has taken advanced measures to try and keep players from having to bow out due to contracting the virus, Bloomberg notes, requiring players and staff members to stay at home except for team-related activities. The league also limited locker room meetings to 10 minutes and has kept interaction to only elbow or fist bumps.
The league's rules currently require players who test positive for the coronavirus and are asymptomatic to sit out for 10 days and to pass a health screening before returning to play.
