Chelsea Clinton gets her own podcast

Chelsea Clinton is getting into the podcasting game.

The former first daughter will host "In Fact with Chelsea Clinton" starting April 13, iHeartMedia announced Tuesday.

The weekly show will seek to "pull back the curtain on some of the biggest public health challenges of our time," according to a news release. 


Clinton, who holds a master's degree in public health and teaches graduate classes at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health, will play host to a number of high-profile Hollywood and political guests, including actress Jane Fonda, Dax Shepard and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance BottomsKeisha Lance BottomsAtlanta mayor issues order to expand ballot access Chelsea Clinton gets her own podcast Biden: Georgia law is 'Jim Crow in the 21st century' MORE (D). The inaugural episode will feature an interview with "Queer Eye's" Jonathan Van Ness focused on HIV/AIDS.

The 41-year-old daughter of former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary ClintonHillary Diane Rodham ClintonPelosi planned on retiring until Trump won election: report Pence autobiography coming from Simon & Schuster Amanda Gorman makes the cover of Vogue MORE said in a statement, "With more attention than ever being paid to public health, we have an opportunity to expand awareness beyond COVID-19 to other real and pervasive issues that impact us all."

Clinton said she hopes through the podcast that listeners will walk away "informed, entertained, inspired, and with a better understanding of why public health matters."

The "She Persisted" author is the latest member of her famous family to launch an iHeartRadio podcast. Hillary Clinton began hosting a show called "You and Me Both" last year, while the ex-commander in chief is behind the podcast "Why Am I Telling You This?"
