Julia Louis-Dreyfus is slamming GOP lawmakers, saying the Republican Party has gone insane.

“The Republican Party, in my view, has lost their minds," the former "Veep" star told Variety in an interview for its Women in Comedy issue, released Wednesday.

"This is not even the party of Reagan anymore," Louis-Dreyfus said.

Louis-Dreyfus said last year that she was "exhausted" by Trump's presidency and comparisons to her former HBO show, in which she starred as fictional vice president and president Selina Meyer

"You know it's one thing when it's a comedy on HBO and we can laugh, but when lives are at stake as they are today, and when democracy is on the line, which is something I feel was very much the case in this last election, I want to right this ship," the 60-year-old comedian said in an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

While "Veep" ended its run in 2019, Louis-Dreyfus told Variety that she's not closing the door on reviving the satire at some point.

Asked if she would want to "get the gang back together," Louis-Dreyfus replied, "Yes! It would give me enormous joy to do more 'Veep.' "

"And who knows, maybe we will one day," she added.
