Monica Lewinsky signs production deal with 20th TV

Monica Lewinsky has signed her company Alt Ending Productions to a producing deal with 20th Television, news that comes ahead of the latest installment of the “American Crime Story” anthology series following former President Clinton’s impeachment in 1998.
The anti-cyberbullying advocate and Vanity Fair contributor is serving as a producer for the series as it focuses on the scandal. Actress Beanie Feldstein is starring as the former White House intern.
The star-studded cast also includes Clive Owen as Bill Clinton, Edie Falco as Hillary Clinton, Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp, Margo Martindale as Lucianne Goldberg, and Billy Eichner as Matt Drudge.
20th TV President Karey Burke said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter that Lewinsky’s involvement with the series showcased her “instincts as a producer, and her desire to bring provocative, untold stories to the screen.”
“She is formidable and passionate about the work, and we’re hopeful this first look deal leads to many successful projects together,” Burke said.

“Having had my own story hijacked for many years, I’m very interested in the voices or perspectives we historically don’t hear from or see. They’re brimming with untapped potential,” Lewinsky said.
Lewinsky also was an executive producer and star in the upcoming HBOMax documentary “15 Minutes of Shame,” which will take an in-depth look at the “public shaming epidemic in our culture.”
