Jill Biden remembers her father, celebrates President Biden on Father’s Day

First lady Jill Biden shared memories of her dad in honor of Father’s Day on Sunday, in addition to celebrating President Biden.

“My dad, a Navy Signalman in World War II, was my first hero. If I close my eyes, I can still hear his encouraging voice saying, “Good for you, Jilly-bean!” the first lady shared on Twitter.

“I miss him every day, especially on Father’s Day,” she added. “My heart is with those who are also missing their dads today.”

The first lady also shared a photo of the president and their children, the late Beau Biden, Ashley Biden and Hunter Biden.

“And to the father of my children, @POTUS, your boundless love for our family is our anchor,” Jill Biden said.

The president is also the father of Naomi Biden, who died at one years old in a car accident that also killed his first wife, Neilia Biden.

Former first lady Michelle Obama also wished “all the dads out there” a happy Father’s Day on Sunday, including former President Obama.

“Our daughters couldn’t have asked for a better role model. We’re so lucky to have you in our lives,” she shared on social media.
