Grier’s charges stem from an incident in which he allegedly assaulted a man, leading to brain damage, and stole his cell phone, according to People magazine. The man reportedly suffered a broken left orbital bone, bruised ribs, head trauma and hearing loss.
Grier gained fame with his brother, Nash Grier, on the defunct video-sharing app Vine. He currently has over 880,000 followed on YouTube and over 5 million followers on Instagram.
Hayes Grier previously competed on “Dancing with the Stars” in 2015, being the youngest ever competitor at the time at 15-years-old.
