Paul McCartney says COVID-19 vaccinations are "cool," as the legendary singer urged his fans to get their shots.

The 79-year-old former Beatle shared his pro-vaccine message with his more than 4 million Twitter followers Monday.

McCartney was seen sporting a face mask as he received a shot in his arm.

The British rock star said in a December interview that he would get vaccinated "as soon as I'm allowed."

“The vaccine will get us out of this,” McCartney said at the time.

McCartney is the latest entertainer to promote vaccinations. Musicians and performers including Mariah Carey, Dolly Parton, Olivia Rodrigo, Eric Church, Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Bennett, among others, have encouraged people through interviews and social media posts to get vaccinated.
