Jimmy Fallon, Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion release pro-booster ‘It Was A (Masked Christmas)’

Jimmy Fallon is giving a boost to COVID-19 vaccine boosters, teaming up with Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion for an offbeat, Christmas-themed music video encouraging Americans to get “in line” for the shots.

“It was a masked Christmas, we stayed in the house. We covered our nose, and covered our mouth,” the NBC “Tonight Show” host croons in “It Was A (Masked Christmas),” which he debuted on Monday. “But it’s Christmastime, we’ll be in line for a booster.”

Other lines in the tune include: “This Christmas I’mma make it count, no more quarantine on the couch. This year hang that mistletoe, I’mma kiss everybody that I know.”

Megan Thee Stallion appears in a risqué nurse’s outfit with a manicure of vaccine syringes on each finger as she raps, “This year’s different, you can tell, deck those halls and jingle bells. Put Purell on everything: turkey, eggnog, candy cane.”

“It’s basically about how last year was rough for everybody, and I wanted to say how, you know, it’s going to get better,” Fallon told viewers on Monday.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention approved and recommended vaccine booster shots for all adults last month.
