"The Late Show" host Stephen Colbert on Thursday recreated Kellyanne Conway's "fun with words" after the White House counselor used two hand-made signs on Fox News to explain her take on the Russia investigation during an interview.

"Last night, senior White House adviser and Satan's trophy wife Kellyanne Conway appeared on Fox News and used a little visual aid to drive home her point," Colbert said right before playing a video clip of her Wednesday interview with Sean Hannity.

Conway said she thought she could just have some "fun with words."

"Fun, I want to try," Colbert said before pulling out his own visual aids.

"[Donald] Trump Jr. tried to articulate but that turned out to incriminate," Colbert said, holding up a sign with the two words. "See it's easy to remember, it's something even an idiot would anticipate and now he's going to be an inmate. Just thought we’d have some fun with words."

Conway used signs in her interview after emails revealed that Donald Trump Jr. met with a Russian lawyer who promised to give incriminating information on then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary ClintonHillary Diane Rodham ClintonClinton trolls Trump with mock letter from JFK to Khrushchev Trump-Graham relationship tested by week of public sparring Sunday shows — Mulvaney seeks to tamp down firestorm over quid pro quo comments, Doral decision MORE during the campaign. Trump Jr. released the chain of emails on Tuesday, including one message from the intermediary setting up the meeting that says the information “would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father."

"This is to help all the people at home. What's the conclusion? Collusion? No, we don't have that yet," Conway said while holding signs during the Wednesday interview.

"I see illusion and delusion. So just so we're clear everyone, four words. Conclusion, collusion no. Illusion, delusion, yes," she said.

Social media users quickly turned the signs Conway used late Wednesday into memes.
