Brady: It 'would be great' if Trump won

Asked about the pro-Trump “Make America Great Again" hat that was found in his locker earlier this month, Brady told journalists on Wednesday that he would welcome a Trump presidency.


The 2015 Super Bowl MVP added that Trump, who is an avid golfer, would no doubt install a putting green on the White House lawn if elected, apparently unaware that there already is one.

"That would be great. There’d be a putting green on the White House lawn. I know that,” Brady said.

Brady has described Trump as “a good friend,” saying he met the GOP primary front-runner while serving as a judge at a Miss USA beauty pageant.

“He always gives me a call with different motivational speeches at different times,” Brady said.

Trump has previously called Brady, a four-time Super Bowl champion, a “total winner.”
