Lawmaker calls on heckling reporter to be banned from White House

{mosads}”Why’d you favor foreigners over Americans?” Munro asked.

“Excuse me, sir, but it’s not time for questions, not while I’m speaking,” Obama replied.

Later in his statement, Obama, pointing his finger at the reporter in front of the live TV cameras, said: “And the answer to your question, sir — and the next time I prefer you to let me finish by statements before you ask a question — is this is the right thing to do for the American people? I didn’t ask for an argument, I’m answering your question.

It is the right thing to do for the American people and here’s the reason — because these young people are going to make extraordinary contributions and are already making contributions to our society.”

As Obama spoke, Munro could be heard responding.

The Daily Caller also tweeted about the incident Friday, expressing support for Munro amid widespread criticism for the breach of protocol.
