The Obama campaign debuted the new slogan at the end of a Web video released Monday touting the president's successes during his first term in office and highlighting the challenges he faced in the early days of his presidency.

MSNBC began using their tagline, "Lean Forward," nearly two years ago in an ad campaign with commercials and print ads featuring personalities, such as Chris Matthews and Al Sharpton, who anchor left-leaning opinion shows on the network.

More than one person noticed the similarity between the Obama campaign's new slogan and the MSNBC tagline. Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" called out Obama's campaign on the show Monday morning.

"So is Fox's slogan going to be, or Mitt Romney's slogan going to be 'Balanced?'" Scarborough said, referencing the Fox News tagline "Fair and Balanced." "I mean, he's taking MSNBC's slogan!"
