Mitt Romney on Monday had his motorcade stop and turn around so he could visit elementary school students who had been waving as the column of vehicles drove by.
Romney aides tweeted updates as Romney made the abrupt stop on Monday.

The stop, at Fairfield Elementary, came early Monday afternoon after Romney delivered a campaign speech at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va.
