A Florida congressman took to Twitter Tuesday to promote the anniversary of the founding of his fraternity.

Rep. Kendrick Meek (D-Fla.) tweeted about the Founders' Day of Omega Phi Psi, a black fraternity founded at Howard University in 1911:

--Happy Founders Day to All the Men of the Mighty Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. ΩΨΦ

Meek attended Florida A&M University, a historically black college, graduating in 1989.
