Before today's cap-and-trade show down in the House, members headed over to the White House for the annual picnic. This year it was luau-themed.

Several members of Congress tweeted about the friendly atmosphere at the event. Sen. Finally, Rep. Eric Paulsen (R-Minn.) said his girls had a wonderful time with the first daughters. He tweeted:
