DISTILLERS. Campari America, a spirits distillery, also hired Ballard Partners to work on trade and tariff issues. Ballard and Sylvester Lukis, a former attorney with the Office of the General Counsel at the Department of Health and Human Services, will work on the account.



TRADE. Bicycle manufacturer Priority Outdoor Products hired LNE Group to work on issues related to trade policy. The firm’s founder and president, Lee Weingart, former county commissioner in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, is among those working on the account.


LEGAL. The legal defense fund for Ross Ulbricht hired Federal Advocates to work with the administration in regard to Ulbricht's 2015 conviction. Kevin Talley, former chief of staff to Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), will work on the account. Ulbricht is serving double life sentences and was convicted of money laundering, computer hacking, conspiracy to traffic fake identification documents and conspiracy to traffic narcotics over the internet.
