The firm’s founder, Brian Ballard, former chairman of Trump Victory, and Sylvester Lukis, a former attorney with the Office of the General Counsel at the Department of Health and Human Services, will work on the account.

Hotel Association of New York City, Inc. hired Kasirer to lobby on the Protecting Local Authority and Neighborhoods Act, or the PLAN Act, which would stop short-term rental companies from renting homes in residential areas. Julie Greenberg, former chief of staff to ex- New York State Assembly member Scott Stringer (D), and Suri Kasirer, the firm’s founder, will work on the account, among others.



Pet food manufacturer Diamond Pet Foods Inc. hired Husch Blackwell Strategies to lobby on issues related to the Food and Drug Administration and consumer confidence in pet foods.
