SPORTS. Major League Baseball recently hired Ballard Partners to work on issues related to combating human trafficking, according to disclosures. Brian Ballard, former chairman of Trump Victory, and Sylvester Lukis, a former attorney with the Office of the General Counsel at the Department of Health and Human Services, will work on the account.

MEDIA. The Broadcast Center, located in Coachella, Calif., hired the Gaboton Group to work on economic development programs for veterans. The firm’s president, Joshua Gaboton, former partner at the firm Alcalde and Fay, will work on the account.

HOUSING. The Florida-based Housing Authority of Daytona Beach also hired the Gaboton Group to work on affordable housing reform. Joseph Gaboton will work on the account.

Also in Florida, Putnam County hired Gaboton Group to work on economic development and infrastructure. St. Johns County hired it to work on a restoration project, transportation and infrastructure enhancement and a Housing and Urban Development agency program. And Dania Beach hired it to work on economic development and water and waste infrastructure, while Okaloosa County hired it to work on shore restoration. Gaboton will also work on these accounts.
