Ascension, a health care system, hired McDermott+Consulting to work on issues relating to health care data management and privacy. Rodney Whitlock, former health policy director to Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), will work on the account.

Crissy Field Dog Group, a California-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting and advocating for responsible dog ownership, hired K&L Gates to work on issues related to dog walking management plans. Former Reps. James Walsh (R-N.Y.) and Jeff Denham (R-Calif.), among others, will work on the account.
MANUFACTURING. Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company hired A1.9 Strategies to work on Defense Department support for strategic development and nonmetal material solutions. Michael Higdon, former chief of staff to Rep. Hal Rogers (R-Ky.), will work on the account.
